Monday AM & I'm finally feeling like I'm recovered from the long weekend of get-togethers, which in other words translates into food fests! Lets just say there was cheesecake & birthday cake involved on two separate occasions. On top of lasagna, sausage, chips, quiche, jalapeno poppers and a plethora of other tasties. FML
I have such an easy time staying on track in controlled situations. When I'm home or even when I'm going out to a restaurant. I'm able to prepare and I have an easier time staying on track. But when It's going to a social get together, say at someone's house, I just cannot keep it under control.
I foresee this being an everlasting struggle but I'm working on it.
In other unrelated news, we spent a good chunk of our Sunday at the car dealership. A random browsing of the dealership parking lot lead to us coming home with a brand new car. Salesman spotted us creeping around and it was all downhill from there. It's cool though, I'm happy with my 2011 Murano. It's so shiny purdy! And it's smells good too!
