Yep! Officially signed up. 5k. No turning back. Now, when I run, I am actually training for something. And when I say training, that makes me feel like an athlete. And that makes me smile.
This is my marathon. For those of you out there training for 10K's, half marathons, marathons, ironmans, etc, this is
my marathon;
my ironman. Something that always seemed so far off into the distance skill wise. I was so far from being able to run a 5k just a few months ago. Now I'm feeling confident about being able to not only finish, but get a fairly good time too.
Wowzaa!
April 10th baby!

That is so awesome! I am currently doing C25K too (W7D3) and I'm planning on doing a 5K sometime. But, I'm a chicken!! :)
Congrats! I signed up for my first 5k last month and I am doing it this coming Sunday. I'm super nervous for it.
Hey Carrie Anne, how the running going? What day/week are you on now?
Amanda, how was the 5k?
:)
Since my last comment I started running outside- which has made me stay on W7D3 until I can do a full 25mins outside. But it's going better each time. I'm hoping to be able to do my first 5K this year! :)
