Filet, wine & movie popcorn

...those are the makings of a good date!

I suppose the company kinda counts too. ;) But I had it all this weekend you guys!

Adam and I had our own little date night Saturday. Old school style, dinner & a movie (The Fighter). And the best part (other than the food) was that it was a 'just because' date. No special occasion. Just b/c we deserve it! Love that. Just like I'd rather have flowers 'just because' and not b/c it's my birthday. That's just how I roll peeps (like how I got all gangsta on you? Sorry 'bout dat).
It's funny how something so simple like a dinner out without kids and a movie that doesn't involve cartoons can be so enjoyable once you become parents.

And yeah, there were lots of tasties consumed. An 8 oz. filet, some hollandaise & béarnaise sauce, 1/2 a bottle of wine, a nutty irishmen (use your imagination), a med bag of movie popcorn & some more wine to name a few. And it was worth every.single.bite.

We took our time and just enjoyed each every second of it. Yeah...it was a good night.
