I'm not sure why, but man do I always get screwed with the parent volunteer cutting at preschool! I mean, I'm all about helping out the class whether it's donating supplies or my time but something is up. Are these teachers trying to get back at me for something? Is my kid the troublemaker?

Exhibit A:

The class needs 2 volunteers a month to cut. When the other parent gets a big round apples to cut I get a cow with a tiny tail, little ears and udders. When they get 3 big circles for snowman I get detailed snowflakes with 50 tiny cuts in each one.

This month they get a mailbox shaped like a rectangle. Me? Oh only 200 different sized hearts.

I'm starting to reconsider the whole kid-is-too-young-to use-sharp-scissors policy I have in place. Anything for the kids. :)

btw, ya'll better appreciate that pic. Do you know how much of a pita it's gonna be to re-sort all those damn hearts by size? The things I do for visual impact.

Happy Valentines Day Lovers!
